Jagonari Playhouse (registered with Ofsted as ‘Jagonari Children’s Centre’ reference number EY262519) runs care and education sessions for children under 5 years of age.

All sessions are planned in accordance with the children’s individual needs, taking into account the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.  All children and families are assigned to a Key Person who will look after the child’s and the families needs, help the child to feel secure in their new environment, and will observe and record their learning and development progress while at Jagonari.

Our opening hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and our sessions run as follows:

Creche:
9:30am to 12:00pm. Monday – Friday, all year except statutory holidays.
This session is available for children aged 0-5 years, of those families who are attending a class with the Adult Education side of Jagonari.  Bookings are essential, and may be done through your tutor, or via Jasmin Nessa.  Families will be required to complete a two week settling in period with their before their course starts. This is to ensure that our educators, and your child feel comfortable with each other before they are left together. Please see our policies and procedures for more information.

Early Years Play Session:
1:00pm-4:00pm, Monday – Friday, Term dates only
This session is for children aged 2 years, whose families qualify for the ‘Nursery Education Grant’ (NEG2).  Please talk to Jasmin for more information whether your family qualifies.

Playgroup
1:00pm-4:00pm, Monday – Friday, Term dates only
This session is open for all children aged 2.5 – 5 years of age.  Please contact Jasmin for more information.

We encourage families to visit the Playhouse and meet with the educators before signing their child to the waiting-list. We also reccomend that you browse through the Policies and Procedures so you can better understand how we will care for your child and your family.
